Confirmation Class Re-Envisioned

Are you a former or current member with a student interested in fostering meaningful connections with their Jewish peers?
We are incredibly excited about Confirmation this year! Classes will be taught by both Rabbi Olshein and Heidi Goldsobel. Not only is it an opportunity for our high schoolers to get to be with their peers in a Jewish setting, they also will be learning amongst friends about a variety of topics aimed to prepare them as they grow into future Jewish leaders. Our students who join Confirmation enter the Jewish Teen Leadership Cohort (JTLC), which they continue through Post-Confirmation in 11th and 12th grade. As our children grow into young Jewish adults, preparing them for the challenges they may face as Jews in the world is an essential task for the Jewish people.
Students in Confirmation and Post-Confirmation have the chance to engage in hands-on learning experiences and meaningful Jewish travel as they discover develop their own understandings of tzedakah, social action, and being created b’tzelem Elohim (creation in God’s image). Confirmation is a way to ensure that our young adults feel secure in and proud of who they are, and have the skills necessary to continue their Jewish learning as adults. To join Confirmation, you must be entering 10th grade for the 2023-2024 school year.
