Temple Emanuel of Tempe's L’Dor V’Dor Society is a group of families and individuals who have pledged to make a legacy gift to Temple Emanuel’s Life & Legacy Endowment Fund, managed by the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix.
L'dor V'dor which loosely translates from generation to generation is understood to mean the transmission of the culture's values, rituals, traditions, and history to the next generation. Our L'Dor V'Dor Society allows families and individuals to help support future generations through generous legacy gifts.
Our members are individuals just like you! Individuals who want Temple Emanuel of Tempe to be a congregational “family” home for future generations. Our process in becoming a L'Dor V'Dor member is simple – it begins with a conversation. We have several options on how you can choose to make a difference in Temple Emanuel of Tempe's future.
- A legacy gift is one that is part of your estate plan. You may select to leave a direct donation to Temple Emanuel of Tempe in your will or you may designate Temple Emanuel of Tempe as one of the beneficiaries in your retirement plan.
- Or if you prefer, you may make a cash gift at any time.
