Mike Rohr - 1981

Current member of 46 years Mike Rohr recalls, “After the Temple was completed, we had to finish the landscaping before the City would give us a permit of occupancy. Both Pollye (Mike’s wife) and I helped plant all sorts of landscaping. I drove the front-end loader moving mounds of dirt to various locations to aid in the planting.”
Fibel's Folly
"Fibel’s Folly was part of our first building. Herb Fibel (our 5th president) suggested that we have a “little toilet” in the first building as we thought we would rent to a preschool. So, we put a low seat toilet and sink in the back of the building for tots. However, we never rented the space to a preschool and never used the bathroom. As a result, the door was never opened, and it became known as Fibel’s Folly. (When the second remodel happened, the bathroom was demolished for other needs.)"
